We have had two children graduate through Coast Montessori and one more to go. I have no doubt that we picked the best preschool in the area. We always feel so welcomed when we arrive at kindy, the teachers (high ratio) always have intriguing and fun activities set up for the kids. They teach independence from an early age, caring for oneself, respect, engaging learning of all the senses. We have found having all ages in together a great way to foster learning and later on develop leadership skills. The owner Karen has poured her heart into the school, with so much attention to detail which in turn has created a high callibre of teachers and a community to follow. Our kids have been well prepared for school, self motivated and into routine. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as the best place to start your children's learning journey.

Coast Montessori is an incredible preschool. The owners are very involved and have poured their heart and soul into establishing a nurturing, supportive and educational environment that helps each child to thrive in their own way. The teaching team are so wonderful, with each bringing their own unique giftings to the way they care for and encourage our tamariki. We have loved our time at CM, and would highly recommend to anyone.

We've seen both our kids thrive at Coast. The teachers genuinely love what they do & care about each child's needs, learning styles and interests. The Montessori approach encourages self-directed learning through hands-on activities and we are constantly amazed by all the new things our kids have learned while at preschool. Their fun but structured learning environment also gave our kids confidence and a solid foundation for starting school. We are so grateful for Karen and the awesome team at Coast, and would wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a preschool to anyone looking for a great place for their kids.

Having been apart of the Coast Montessori family since 2022 we would never go anywhere else! My eldest has recently graduated and was beyond prepared to start school thanks to the wonderful teachers & well thought out education based activities they so lovingly create for the children. Once enrolling be prepared for the beautiful keepsakes (Mother’s Day, Easter, etc) and creative artwork to come home as well as your child never wanting to actually leave. My youngest is still there and it really is such a weight lifted of my shoulders knowing she is loved & cared for at Coast Montessori x

Coast Montessori in Silverdale is a hidden gem. Our children have both attended since they turned two. The kind, highly trained staff create a warm, safe environment where they feel comfortable to be themselves and learn through a Montessori-led approach. Our 4-year-old daughter has learned a lot here including counting, reciting the alphabet, and exploring various interesting topics such as Space and Bugs, and our 2 year-old-boy loves the individual activities and having the familiarity of structure throughout the day. They often bring home special keepsakes from the amazing arts and crafts activities they do. They've also been on awesome excusions to the Zoo and Motat. We recommend Coast Montessori to anyone looking for a great balance of learning and play, in a beautifully crafted centre!

The team at Coast Montessori are absolutely wonderful!! Their love, care and passion is truly remarkable. With separate zones focusing on different skills, I know my child is being developed in all the different learning aspects. My daughter loves it so much that it is a mission getting her to leave every day. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Coast Montessori. Sending my daughter to Coast was the best decision! She absolutely loves it here and has just thrived so much. She started as a 2 year old who didn’t talk, but in 1.5 years has become so confident and her speech has come a long way! The teachers are so fun, caring, hands on and treat you like family ?
